At first, I assumed it was some kind of reminder to get out and vote. Then, I noticed the caller already seemed to know I lived here and wanted to talk to someone specific. A lady with an Indian-British accent asked to speak to a certain person. I asked her what organisation she was from. She said it was regarding this New SUPER CARD thing. Honestly, SUPERLEAGUE, SUPER CARD, SUPERLEAGUE... It just sounds like they want to push more debt on us than we already have right now.

I initially figured it was one of those calls reminding people to vote. They obviously knew I was home cos they asked to speak to a woman. The lady on the line sounded Indian-British and wanted to chat about something. When I asked what company she was calling from, she said it was about this New SUPER CARD thing. SUPER LEAGUE or something like that. SUPER CARD, SUPERLEAGUE, SUPERCARD = basically just means they’re trying to get us into even more debt than we’ve already got.

They let you pick a box, and if you miss the first try, they give you another shot - and guess what, you “win” the iPhone. But then they ask for your address and want you to pay £1. Definitely a scam.

After checking the info on this, I'm pretty sure it's a scam. The caller left no message and the number didn't look familiar at all. We've bought stuff from Easylife before and honestly, the quality was a bit iffy. So if it’s them ringing, just hang up straight away. Don’t get drawn into any chat or they might trick you. Someone called my nan on her landline pretending to be the police. She felt suspicious because the caller sounded quite off. They said they were looking into a scam about face masks she supposedly bought and wanted her to give details about how she paid. It was obviously a scam. Luckily, my nan didn’t fall for it and put the phone down. But then the caller rang again, shouting and threatening her for hanging up on ‘the police’. My nan quickly cut the call. It’s really scary for older folks and awful that there’s people out there doing this kind of thing.
