Got a call from this number earlier with the usual tale. My husband picked up and asked them for some ID, but as soon as he did, they just hung up. If you get an automated message from this number, best not to pick up!

This number kept ringing my phone, it was some scammer trying to sneak money from my bank balance into theirs. I learned the hard way, now I just block and never pick up. If you answer even once, be ready for them to keep calling. Best thing to do is just ignore and block straight away.

Just got a phone call from this number sayin my NI number’s been blocked and there’s arrest warrants for me cause of money launderin or summat. They claimed they could sort it out and said they use these government-backed wallets. They told me to send all my savings to some account and after it’s all fixed, they’ll give me my cash back. Seems fishy to me!

Got a call from some people pretending to be from the Central Criminal Court, saying they were from HMRC. They were quite pushy and threatened me a lot, definitely a scam.

My daughter got a phone call from someone claiming to be from child protection and the police. It totally freaked her out! They even gave a badge number, which made it all the more unsettling. Honestly, it was really disturbing.

Got a call from this number today with someone claiming to be a detective from the Coventry Police, telling me I owed money to HMRC. It freaked me out at first, but my accountant told me it’s just a scam and to not bother with it.

Got a call from this number claiming to be the police. They asked if my phone had been nicked. I told them it got stolen a couple months back. It all sounded a bit dodgy, especially when they said they had my phone and wanted me to give a statement. Just wondering if this is some kind of scam because it honestly doesn’t sit right with me.
