If you check sky[###]/voice it'll show you who’s calling. The reason they sometimes don’t seem to realise you’ve switched to sky mobile is cos sky sends them the numbers before their system catches up that you’re actually with sky now. Basically, they just get paid by sky to push sky mobile plans.

What a complete con! I can say with certainty that this isn’t genuine Sky. They rang me up, insisting they needed my personal info to prove it was really me. Got a call about five minutes back. I'm a bit puzzled since I've only just switched to Sky Mobile a few days ago. If it’s really Sky, why are they ringing my landline and not my mobile? Plus, I thought Sky mostly contacted customers through letters or emails. It felt quite odd and a bit annoying, especially when I was tied up with something.

They kept ringing me like 3 times every day for a whole week. Most of the time i was asleep or just ignored it. They never leave a voicemail or anything. When I finally picked up today, the guy asked if I’m familiar with Sky mobile. I told him I already have Sky TV, broadband, email, landline and 2 Sky mobiles! I said if they call again I’ll cancel everything Sky related straight away. I blocked the number on my mobile but can’t block it on my landline. The last digit changes from 0-9 so I had to block all 10 options!! Properly annoying and feels like harassment!

Got a call from Sky Mobile, said it was a courtesy call and asked how many mobiles we have at home. I told her none, which seemed to confuse her ’cause I was clearly on a mobile phone. I told her it was an unsolicited call, but she insisted it wasn’t since it was a courtesy call. I just told her I was enjoying my Friday night down the pub, wished her a nice weekend and said goodbye. I’m with Sky but pretty happy with who I’m with right now!

I get calls from Sky Mobile pretty often, maybe once every month. They’re normally just trying to pitch a phone contract. I just say I’m already signed up with someone else and they usually back off. I think it’s pretty harmless really. Most times I notice it’s right after I’ve been checking out phones online or in shops. Guess it’s just part of their job, nothing too annoying.

Since May 16th, my phone has been constantly ringing every day. I’m not sure if it’s Sky calling, although I do have their broadband and home phone service. The calls come through on my mobile, which Sky usually doesn’t use to contact me. It’s really irritating and driving me mad!
