I've had a few missed calls from this number, and they've left voicemails claiming to be from SSE. They keep insisting that I call them back as a matter of urgency, but the name they mention is completely unfamiliar to me. To top it off, we don’t even have an account with SSE! It certainly feels like a scam to me.

I received a message from that number claiming to be SSE, stating that an account ending in four digits was overdue regarding business energy payments. Oddly, they provided zero specifics, completely unaware that we pay our landlord for all our utilities! It’s clearly a scam, for sure! It’s baffling to think that with all the advancements in technology, we cannot track down these con artists and pay them a little surprise visit, can we?

I've recently found a bill linked to this number as well. However, it's come through as a letter claiming to be from SSE Business Energy, directed to a business I know nothing about, but sent to my home address. It certainly raises some red flags and seems to be a scam to me.

Received a message claiming I had an outstanding balance on my energy bill. However, that's not the case since I handle everything with direct debits. It’s obviously a scam, so stay alert, everyone!

A young woman rang me up, insisting that I had a £700 outstanding balance on my phone bill that needed to be settled immediately to prevent disconnection. Naturally, I contacted my provider to verify this claim, only to discover that there was no balance at all. Be wary of this number, as it seems very much like a potential scam operation!
