Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virginmedia’s tech team. They said they needed to switch my IP address because someone was trying to hack into my account. I gave them some info since they seemed genuine enough. Later, I rang up my actual provider and they said there’s no record of any calls from them about this. Definitely sounds like a scam to me, so watch out!
