Yesterday they wanted the manager, and today they asked for one of my coworkers who actually retired ages ago - looks like they’re using outdated info from somewhere online. His English wasn't great and he got really annoyed when I questioned why he was ringing me.British Gas7 yearsThis was totally a scam for sure. The line was super noisy and they said they were calling from npower, telling me my electricity contract was finished or something like that. They kept asking questions like they wanted to check if my info was up-to-date for some sort of renewal letter. I was suspicious and didn’t want to share any personal details. The line had loads of background noise and the person on the other end didn’t sound like a native English speaker. After hanging up a few times, they kept calling back until I eventually gave in. I’m still not sure if it was really Scottish Power or some dodgy scam.Scottish PowerSubmit Your Own Report (0345 052 0510)
