About a month ago I phoned this number and ended up chatting for like 11 minutes. Just recently I decided to look it up to find out who was on the other end. It wasn’t a scam or anything dodgy, just can’t quite remember why I rang HSBC in the first place. Maybe it was something to do with HSBC Life?

It’s probably a scam, to be honest. I was in the middle of making a tiny purchase using my Blue Light Card when suddenly, my card got blocked due to some hiccups with the one-time passcodes that were pinging through to my phone. They then provided a number to call about the blocked card, and, well, I was a bit naïve and ended up sharing some personal details along with a bit of account info - what was I thinking!

This number is for real, I made a call to the main HSBC customer support line and they told me this number is definitely registered with them and confirmed the person I spoke with. Maybe folks should ring up HSBC directly to check instead of jumping to bad conclusions and spreading panic!

03450 511 348: Avoid answering this number, it's a con. If you think there's something wrong with your card, ring your bank straight away using the number found on the back of your debit or credit card. When I tried to pay online, a message popped up saying my payment failed and my card was blocked, telling me to call this number. I ended up ringing my bank myself, and they said there was no sign of any issues or blocks on my card. It's a total scam to steal your info, so if you've called, make sure you cancel your card right away.

I was trying to buy something on an app when a message suddenly appeared showing HSBC and Visa logos saying my details were outdated and I needed to call this number. It never even got to the usual step of authorising through the app or sending me a one-time code. It felt dodgy, so I looked up the number online and found it wasn’t linked to HSBC at all - definitely don’t call it. When I later contacted HSBC using their official number to warn them about this scam, they seemed totally uninterested and didn’t really care.

This company appears to be untrustworthy; I'd advise against using their services.

Just a heads up, watch out for something fishy with Vestiaire Collective. When I tried to pay, it said my card was blocked and asked me to ring this number 03450 511348 supposedly from HSBC. Felt dodgy to me, definitely looks like a scam. Don’t hand over your private bank info to these people! Stay safe everyone.

The other day, I attempted to make a purchase online and was met with a rather alarming notification stating that my card was blocked. It prompted me to call 03450511348 to resolve the issue. Naturally, I have no intention of calling that number. Now, I'm stuck and unable to complete any transactions. I've tried reaching out to HSBC to sort things out, but what an ordeal it's been! I found myself on hold for an exasperating hour and a half, bouncing between four separate departments, only to end up right back where I began-still on hold. Honestly, their customer service leaves much to be desired!

I was trying to pay a bill on a site and this number popped up. The call seemed legit at first, like something from HSBC, everything was spot on like an actual HSBC call. But then they asked for an OTP, which HSBC never does, and that’s when I figured out it was a scam.

While I was doing my online shop at Asda, this phone number popped up during checkout asking me to ring to update my contact info. It came up alongside the legit HSBC numbers, which made me think it was genuine. I gave the number a call, and the voicemail sounded almost exactly like the official HSBC message I heard when I called their real number. The weird thing is, I couldn’t locate this 03450 511 348 number anywhere on the official HSBC site.

I received a rather dubious phone call, with the individual claiming to be from the fraud department at HSBC. They mentioned some unusual transactions on my account and requested my security information to confirm my identity. It struck me as a rather sinister phishing attempt! Do exercise caution!

Someone rang me pretending to be from HSBC. I checked with my actual bank and they confirmed it wasn’t them. The caller ID even made it seem like HSBC was calling. Just be careful and don’t share any personal info!
