7 yearsOver the last few months, I've had probably 50 calls from these lot. Both me and my family have chatted with them. They claim to be from NPower’s billing team, asking for our bank details and meter readings. I contacted the genuine NPower myself, and they told me to report these calls. Plus, when we tried ringing their number back, there was no answer at all.7 yearsGot calls from an Indian guy who kept changing his name every time and claimed to be from a different business. Rang me a few times like this.7 yearsGot a call from a bloke claiming he was with SSE, trying to renew our contract. He put me through to a manager who wanted to double-check my email. I asked them to tell me my email to prove it was really SSE, then they just hung up. Definitely a dodgy caller...SSE7 yearsSomeone rang saying they were from British Gas, trying to sort out a renewal for our electricity and gas. Thing is, they're not even our provider in the first place, so there was no renewal to do. The call bounced around between a bloke with a Chinese accent, then his manager who sounded similar, and finally some billing guy with the same accent. Seemed like some dodgy energy firm trying to sign me up. I told him we get our energy from M&S, and now I’ve blocked the number.
