Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with United Utilities about a letter they supposedly sent me. I told him they already had my details and to just send another letter or an email since they’ve got everything on record. He didn’t seem too pleased when I said that. Happened in the North West of England. Total scam if you ask me.

After dodging this call for a couple of days, I finally picked up today. The lady on the line asked if she had reached **********, to which I replied that it was my name, but from about four years back. That didn’t stop her though - she went on about being from United Utilities and needing to talk about my bill. She clearly had no clue who she was actually ringing! I told her I was busy at work and ended the call. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number a couple times during really weird hours. I figured it’s probably just spam since if it was something important, they’d have sent a text or tried contacting me another way. Best to just block and not answer it.
