Someone said they were from Eon, but I already sorted my bill a few days back. They asked for my date of birth for "data protection" - I just hung up straight away!

Pretty sure this is EON, rang me 3 times back to back today and 3 times yesterday as well, maybe trying to chase a payment. I told them ages ago not to ring me and even removed my number from my account but they keep on calling. I never pick up and just block the calls now.

Caller said they were from 'EON Financial Services', but that company ain't real in the UK. There's a similar name over in Melbourne, Australia though. If you're getting annoyed by these calls or texts, you should complain straight to EON. They might be able to stop it if the calls are legit or take legal steps to protect their name. If you look up who owns the m.eonpay[###] website, it’s not EON - it’s some bloke living in Altrincham, Cheshire. Got a ring from this number at 8:12 in the morning, really messed up my chill time! I skipped picking up 'cause first off, I rarely take work calls before 9:15 and also, the number didn’t look familiar. It’s not the first time either, they've also tried me in the evening. Funny thing is, they never seem to call during regular office hours.

Got a call from this number at 8:12am today, woke me up but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was. After seeing the comments, I think it might be E.ON. They supply my gas and electric, but I only owe them about £38.12 and I’m paying £25 a week, so I should be in credit pretty soon.

I’ve been getting calls from several numbers claiming to be from EON and saying it’s urgent. Just a heads up, don’t respond - it’s got absolutely nothing to do with EON!

We only owe a tiny bit on our bill, not much at all. But since we're on a pension, we have to split the payment into two parts, half now and half later. EON aren’t happy with that and want the full amount straight away. This building has 34 flats and all run on EON’s electricity, otherwise we’d switch providers for sure.

I decided to return the call and was met with an irritable Eastern European woman who seemed to be venting about how the western clientele are far superior compared to the lads from Poland. i didn’t pick up, but i’m pretty sure it was e-on again. they’ve called loads of times before saying i owe them £560, which is rubbish since i’m not even their customer. last time i did answer, i said i was off on holiday soon and wouldn’t be reachable, but they still rang me like twice each day all week! totally ruined my break. and they never bother leaving a voicemail either.
