Total waste of so much time. All you get is a never-ending voicemail with endless choices that go on forever. If you do manage to pick an option to talk to a person, the system just hangs up on you. My latest try was to return a missed call, didn’t answer quick enough. I’ve got no clue why Hotpoint was ringing, and there’s no way to find out. This is just ridiculous corporate outsourcing nonsense. Just answer my call or call me back with a real person who can actually make decisions and do something about it.

Yeh, was Hotpoint calling, just two quick rings then stopped, didn’t even leave a voicemail which I thought was pretty rude. Once I worked out who it was, I called back and ended up talking to a robot for 3 minutes, then it said all advisors were busy and to go online to book a repair. Cooker insurance keeps postponing the engineer’s visit, as the part’s been out of stock for more than a week now :-(. Weirdly, I found the exact part easily on Amazon, eBay and other places that sell kitchen appliance spares, often with next day delivery. Feels like I’m being given a load of rubbish. Honestly, the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. My washing machine repair was supposed to happen between 8am and 4pm, but after calling three times, I was still waiting. I ended up cancelling the appointment because they were so unprofessional and kept giving me false info. I really wouldn't recommend trusting them at all. They just don’t seem to care about their customers one bit.

I received a call on my mobile that I didn’t pick up. Shortly after, my landline rang with the same number. An Asian gentleman informed me that British Gas had transferred my appointment for a Hotpoint fridge repair to them for Friday, 1st November. He sought to confirm my personal details, but I refused, clarifying that my appointment was actually scheduled for tomorrow, 29th October, and that I had already received two texts confirming this. I mentioned that I’d be contacting British Gas Home Care to clear things up. Regrettably, I forgot to ask him for the name of his company. I can't shake the feeling that this number might be involved in some sort of scam, possibly infiltrating British Gas Home Care. This is something British Gas really ought to look into.

Loads of folks here mention getting calls from Hotpoint about delivery or spare parts for their appliances. But we don’t even own any Hotpoint stuff.
