Got a call from 03447451791 saying they’d made a mistake and charged me £3.00 by accident. Apparently, MCOM Payout is going to refund me, but only if I actually go to a post office to pick it up? Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

So, apparently MCOM somehow took some cash from my phone balance by mistake. I didn’t spot it until much later. I didn’t call the number to see what it was about, but I did take the message to the post office. They ended up giving me a £3 refund like it said they would. At this point, I’ve at least matched a name with the number, so I’ll keep an eye out to see if it’s legit or if I need to report it as a scam down the line.

Being autistic, I don't always get things the same way as others. Last year I got charged over £60 by la voucher without realising. My phone credit kept going down and I had no clue what was causing it. Luckily, my daughter worked out it was la voucher and managed to get in touch with them. The thing is, I haven’t done any phone survey on my mobile. Last week, I did get a call on my landline from a bloke with an Asian accent who knew my name and asked if I wanted a Boots voucher. That immediately felt dodgy, so I didn't answer. Then he asked if I was between 18 and 70 years old, and when I said yes, he just said goodbye and hung up. I was expecting more questions, so it was weird he just ended it. I reckon this company must’ve bought my details from whoever handled my PPI claim and then passed them onto others once they had no use for them. It’s ridiculous how these firms pass your info about like it’s nothing. There really should be stricter rules to stop this kind of thing happening...

I've been getting texts from this company too and it’s so annoying. I tried blocking the number but still got charged. I called my mobile provider, Tesco, and they were really good - they managed to find a contact number for me. Tesco said they'd try to block the number from their end as well. I called and spoke to a woman who confirmed I was unsubscribed, but then I got another text yesterday! Tesco did block the number afterwards, but I’m constantly checking my bill in case they sneak in any charges. How are they allowed to do this? Isn’t there any law to stop these dodgy charges? I keep getting charged £1.99 every couple of days for some Premium and Info services I never agreed to on my phone bill. When I rang O2 about it, they just told me to get in touch with the Phone Regulatory Agency and refused to take off the fees themselves. I never signed up for anything from this company, yet they keep taking money. Feels like a total scam and O2 couldn't care less about sorting it out or giving me a refund. Got a text out of the blue thanking me for finishing a phone survey, which I've never done, then asking me to text back "voucher" to confirm my number with some dodgy link like vivalavoucheri###. Feels fishy to me, might be a scam or somethin. Loads of texts have been coming through from Viva La Voucher and each one has been charging me £2. I went through something similar with Three. They kept charging me £18 every month for a subscription I never signed up for. I ended up complaining directly to them but didn’t get much, so I reported it to the regulator. After that, I managed to get all my money refunded and even got £75 as compensation. They were clearly aware this was a dodgy scam but didn’t do anything to stop it.

If you reply to these idiots with a call or text, you might get charged loads extra. Best thing to do is ring your phone company and ask them to block any third party messages free of charge. Make sure you keep an eye on your bills too!

Just found out I’ve been getting charged £1.667 weekly without realising. Must have agreed to some survey or something ages ago, but never thought I’d actually signed up to their dodgy scheme. I always ignored their texts as spam, but it only dawned on me when I was sorting out my phone deal and checked what this charge was about - they acted like they knew exactly what I meant. It’s a proper rip-off, taking £6.68 from me every month. It’s not a huge sum, granted, but for us pensioners, every penny counts. Imagine how much they’re making from loads of people! Absolutely disgraceful. I wonder if I even ask, will they refund me at all?

This has happened to me twice already, where I've been charged for stuff I never agreed to. For months they kept taking money off me even though they actually owed me £79. I only got £20 back in the end, then it stopped for a few months. Now it's started again and I'm proper angry about it. I'm definitely going to take it further, this is not on at all.

this has been happening since 25th nov 2016, and I’m afraid to even text STOP because my balance is nearly empty. Another firm ripped me off for £16. how are these lot still getting paid, by O2? I tried to switch my number to Three, but will they keep draining cash from me afterwards?

Definitely a rip off. I think I accidentally got myself signed up for some text message vouchers costing £2 every week when I entered what I thought was a competition on a site. I sent STOP to 60447 and got a reply confirming I was unsubscribed, so fingers crossed that sorts it!

I was filling out a survey and carefully avoided ticking the box about vouchers, yet out of nowhere I received a message saying I’d signed up for Viva La Voucher. It said I’d be charged £2 every week unless I texted Stop to 60447 or rang 03447451791, but neither option did anything. On top of that, they went ahead and charged me 8p for their messages. Honestly, it feels like a proper scam. I’d recommend contacting your phone company straight away to block those numbers.

So my little girl ended up tapping on some link from a place called vivalavoucher or something, and now I’m getting texts that seem dodgy to me - feels like they’re trying to snatch money. I’m really worried about it. Does anyone know how I can block these messages or make them stop for good? Would hate to get more from them.
