A while back, I got a text from a mobile number claiming a payment was sent from Halifax to someone, and if it wasn’t me I should reply with N. Since I don’t even have an account with Halifax, I replied N and then blocked the number. Feels like this might be connected somehow.

About five minutes after I replied 'N' to a message claiming there was an unauthorised payment, I got a call from this number. They didn’t leave any voicemail, and I’m sure it wasn’t my bank calling. Seems like a classic spam attempt.

I'm receiving calls where the other party doesn’t utter a word. I've recently changed my number and have only shared it with family - it's got to be my provider, SKY, leaking my info!
