If you dont reconise the caller ID, its better not to pick up the call. Try searching the number on this site first to find out if its worth returning. If your phone doesnt show who’s calling, just let it ring out and then dial 1471 to get the number. After that you can check it here before deciding to call back.

I got a call from Capquest, they deal with debts from catalogue firms and things like that. The annoying part is they don't just stop there, they pass your info on to other debt agencies too. So if you owe money to a few places and Capquest gets hold of you, they'll happily sell your details and make money by tracking down people who owe cash.
