Somebody rang me claiming they worked for a life insurance firm. They mentioned they'd found my details on some database. I told them I didn’t want to get calls like that. Then they tried to say it was fine since the call was recorded. Honestly, I don’t get why the government isn’t cracking down harder on these cold calls.

I've been getting calls from this number and a few others like it all the time. Since I have no clue who they might be, I just ignore the calls and don't pick up. Very strange!
