this lady called saying she was from amazon and wanted my name, so I asked why she needed it since she was the one who rang me. she went off on me and told me to get lost, so I told her to buzz off, and then she actually hung up.

I keep getting calls from Trusted Mortgage Claims about checking if I can reclaim PPI on a mortgage I had years ago. I've told them to quit phoning me, but they just keep ringing. I received a call from Trusted MortgageClaims after having exchanged a fair few emails and spoken to them multiple times previously. They were adamant that I might be entitled to a rebate on a mortgage that I took out with my former spouse way back in 1980! I informed them that I haven’t been in touch with my ex in ages, and frankly, 40 years is quite a stretch to revisit. Yet, they insisted that it was worth making an effort to find her, even though I haven't a clue where she might be. Upon reaching out to my mortgage provider, they informed me that they only retain records for a maximum of seven years! And yet, I keep getting calls from these people. Honestly, what a bunch of nincompoops!
