this lady called saying she was from amazon and wanted my name, so I asked why she needed it since she was the one who rang me. she went off on me and told me to get lost, so I told her to buzz off, and then she actually hung up.

I keep getting calls from Trusted Mortgage Claims about checking if I can reclaim PPI on a mortgage I had years ago. I've told them to quit phoning me, but they just keep ringing. MortgageClaims kept calling me even after I’d already sorted things with them through email and phone chats. They were really pushing that I might be able to claim some refund from a mortgage I took out with my ex-wife back in 1980! I told them I hadn’t had any contact with her for yonks and honestly, that was ages ago. They kept saying it was worth a shot and I should try to get in touch with her, but I honestly have no clue where she is these days. I got in touch with the mortgage company myself and they said they only keep records for about 7 years, max! Still, these lot won’t stop calling. Proper daft.
