Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said her name was Michelle and she was part of the government's step2 program. This was actually the second time I had a call from a number starting with 0333. When I asked her where she was calling from, she replied Scotland, but honestly, I wasn’t really buying it!

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise out of the blue. I picked up and then just left the phone down without saying anything. After about 25 seconds of a bloke going “Hello? Anyone there?”, they gave up and ended the call. Checking this number on here, lots of folks say it’s callers pretending to be from O2. Now, O2 is actually my mobile company, but when they ring, it shows up as “O2 Customer Service,” not as a regular number. So if you’re with O2 and a call comes through with a number rather than that label, just hang up and block it - it’s dodgy for sure.
