I dont usually see scammers stick with one number for days on end, they usually switch up their digits quick. So this one is defs another scam using a new number. From what ive seen this number has been linked to loads of known frauds. If you’re getting calls from it, you really ought to report it on Action Fraud’s phishing report page. Just follow the steps online and give as much info as possible to NFIB, so the cops have a chance to look into it properly if theres enough evidence.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from an Indian office inquiring about when I was set to renew my buildings and contents policy. He jumped straight into the usual spiel about life insurance. I told him I was single, loaded, and had no one to leave money to. That totally confused him, but he kept going with his script. Someone rang me today, but I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. It’s mad how many spam calls come through, especially from 0161 and 0151 areas. They seem to switch up their numbers, yesterday they rang me from 01639 618174. I was feeling pretty cheerful so I kept her chatting for about 15 minutes without actually answering her questions, just firing questions back at her. Quite entertaining, if I’m honest. If she was reading from a script, she must’ve forgotten she already mentioned it. She kept pushing so I asked her to remove my number. uCompare phoned me today from this number, but they also tried ringing me yesterday from another one (01639618174) which I went ahead and blocked. Seems like if their auto dialler sees you’ve blocked one number, they just switch to another. I can only describe them as s####s and p###s without swearing. Isn’t what they’re doing illegal, especially when calling TPS registered numbers? And seriously, why is no one like Ofcom stepping in to sort this out?

Don't want to sound harsh, but I’m fed up with these scam callers bugging me non stop!!! Just so you know, Naraka (Sanskrit: नरक) means the underworld or Hell in Sanskrit. In certain branches of Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism, it's seen as a place of suffering. The nasty creatures living there are often called "Narakas".

Bought a couple of shoes from FitFlop last Sunday and ever since, my phone's been buzzing with random calls, texts, and even junk emails. Now, I’m not accusing them straight away, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re handing out customer details, or maybe one of their staff is. Could be a freak coincidence though, who knows? Just saying, maybe think twice before sharing your number with them.

Got a call supposedly about my insurance with "You Compare" but it was obviously a scam trying to chat about my policy.

According to my call history, I've gotten two calls from them this week. Every time, I’ve said “hello” a few times, but they just ended the call right away.

They called about life insurance or something along those lines, but the moment I said a word, they just hung up. Honestly, I’ve lost the will to deal with these calls. Since I’m on the job hunt, I have to pick up every time my phone rings, but it’s got me thinking - are these companies even legit or just scams trying to collect numbers? Sometimes I seriously regret having a phone at all.

Since I upgraded my contract with Vodaphone, I've been getting calls from this number and a couple more. Could just be a coincidence, though?

Got a call today from someone with a strong Indian accent - no idea how they ended up with my phone number. I decided to read out some comments from this website, and the lady got really nasty and then just cut the call. I've blocked the number now.
