I ringed up today and told the woman on the line that the number shows up as a scam on the internet. She seemed surprised and said something about not knowing it appeared as an 0333 number, even though I never brought that up. When I asked for a direct number related to a local council scheme, she left me waiting on hold for like 15 minutes. Feels like a dodgy scam to me, 22729 maybe?

The initial caller was quite unclear with their speech, making it impossible for me to grasp what they were on about. I ended up informing them that I don’t entertain sales pitches from unsolicited callers, then promptly disconnected the call. Shortly after, the phone rang again but there was utter silence on the line. Accordingly, I decided to blacklist that number. Honestly, these sorts of firms are just a complete nuisance!
