Darren Palmer xcel, apparently they have shifted over to Swansea, which seems to be the hub for cold calling in Wales. Stay clear of these lot, they just want your cash and then disappear. Total scam. I've reached out to Watchdog, XRA, Trading Standards, and even the media to try and get this lot looked into properly.

Xcel Energy is an absolute con, just out to rip you off. I know a couple of lads who used to be with them - that's the key, USED to be. They never pay up, leave you completely broke and couldn’t care less. Honestly, steer well clear of them if you value your cash.

This guy Darren Palmer, who ran rec home audits, is behind this new company too. He’s been arrested for fraud, apparently he took almost £100k from customers. What’s worse, he’s been sleeping with his employees, most of whom are barely 16. Absolute creep, and he’s set to do time next year. Look up Darren Palmer Swansea or rec home audits. I happened to be away from home when they rang, and they didn’t leave a message. After a quick search online, I found out it was a sales call as mentioned before. We’re also signed up with the TPS, yet we continue receiving about three nuisance calls daily. It really makes you question how effective the system is, doesn’t it? Even when they apologise and claim they’ll remove our number from their records, it doesn’t give me any peace of mind. It’s obvious they either didn’t bother to verify our status or aren’t bothered about facing repercussions for it.

They seem to be employing auto-diallers that eventually connect me to some poor soul who, to be honest, appears quite disheartened in their role. Steer clear of this lot! It’s only logical... This call centre operating from Swansea and Cardiff, Xcel Energy, seems to be linked to a whole host of dodgy enterprises promising freebies galore-all run by the same folks. These are your typical time sinks, peddling everything from ‘free’ boilers to grants and whatever else they think will part you from your cash. You can easily access a wealth of information from Companies House, including addresses, shareholder details, and the 19 other businesses affiliated with the director.

This number got stopped by my BT call blocker at 11.17 on 06/09/2016. I was near the phone all day waiting for an important call from the garage but never heard this ring once. Honestly, my call blocking phone is brilliant. Before, I used to get calls meant for my late partner who passed away nearly ten years ago. Seriously, get one if you can, they’re not too pricey.

They said they were from Xcel Energy, which from what I gather is just a trading name for Xcel Power Limited. They asked if we had a gas boiler and if it was older than 7 years. They inquired if we owned a gas boiler and whether it was more than seven years old.
