Phone number ☎️ 03335773386 👆 is reported as a persistent and aggressive cold caller targeting mainly elderly people with fake boiler warranty renewal scams. Callers often use polite but pushy tactics to obtain bank details and set up direct debits for unnecessary or non-existent boiler cover, sometimes demanding payment upwards of £200. Many victims report receiving threatening or rude behaviour when questioning the offer or declining, with calls frequently breaching TPS rules. Some customers have been conned out of significant sums before cancelling contracts and involving banks. While a few claim legitimate services, the overwhelming feedback highlights scams designed to exploit vulnerable individuals using misleading information about boiler warranties that do not exist or have expired. Multiple complainants urge caution and verification due to deceptive and distressing practices.

Got a call saying my boiler cover was up for renewal, but it’s not due yet. They wanted my bank sort code - didn’t give it to them. This definitely feels like a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

4 NOV 2020 - WARNING Boiler repair 0333 5773386 rang my 90 year old mother in law about extending her boiler warranty for £190 and got her bank details. She’s got a new boiler so this was pointless. Got a letter today confirming the contract, we called them and since it was within 14 days, they said they’d cancel it! We’re double checking with the bank that the payment hasn’t gone through.

My elderly mum got caught out by Boiler Breakdown Ltd calling from this number as well. They convinced her to give her account details and sort code to pay for an extended warranty on the boiler. They then set up a direct debit and took £299.99 from her. She didn't even need the cover since her boiler is practically brand new and she already has full breakdown cover with British Gas. I've stopped the direct debit and contacted the bank, who are now checking if we can get the money back.

I had a woman ring me up saying I had to get some boiler insurance or something. When she started pushing too hard, I just hung up. Then, today I got a leaflet through the door with my "account" number and said I had to pay £239.99 by direct debit. If these people can be tracked down, they seriously need to be stopped. Just thought I'd share this so others don’t fall for the same dodgy business. Val

Got a call saying my boiler warranty was up, but I told them that’s impossible since my boiler is brand new. The guy was quite polite and said sorry, explaining their records weren’t current. I’ve had this call a few times now, so I just don’t bother with it anymore.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from British Gas, offering a new tariff specifically for individuals aged 60 and above who have central heating home care. Their intention was to decrease my payments. However, they requested my card details, but I informed them that I did not have my card on hand and suggested calling them back later instead. It is important to be aware that this is indeed a scam, and it is unsafe to disclose any personal information to such individuals.

Got a call earlier today from a woman claiming to be "Sue". She said my boiler contract had run out and asked for card info to renew it. I know my boiler deal is with a well-known local heating firm and it’s not up for renewal until June, so it was obvious a scam. "Sue" was quite polite and sounded convincing, so gotta watch out for these types. Definitely a dodgy company. They’re also ignoring TPS rules by cold calling and breaking the law by asking for money for a non-existent contract.

Fortunately, my mum, who’s elderly, caught herself just before handing over her sort code and account details and told them that I handle all her affairs. Then they actually had the nerve to ring me up - they didn’t have the right address and it all felt off. I told them I’d call back. So I looked up the number online and ended up here!

Boiler Breakdown Ltd called my elderly mum earlier and somehow convinced her she needed to renew her boiler cover with them, even tho she’s never had anything with them before - she’s always had British Gas. They managed to get her to share her sort code and bank details. Bank's been notified.

I received a call today from someone offering to extend my boiler warranty and include an annual service. They mentioned a special reduced fee for individuals over 60 years old and wanted me to sign up immediately. However, when I requested confirmation via email with my name, address, and additional details, they refused, stating that they were prohibited from doing so for security reasons. As I started to ask more questions, the caller became abusive, and I decided to end the conversation by hanging up.

Got a call from a dodgy firm selling bogus boiler warranty insurance, even though my mum’s number is on the TPS. She felt she had no choice but to pay up! Make sure you cancel the direct debit straight away! Contact your bank and ask for your money back! You can always get a refund from direct debits! Don’t forget to report them to TPS! These scammers target older people - we must stand against it! Let’s put an end to these SHARKS!

They really pushed my 92 year old mum into getting boiler cover and somehow got her bank details. She only mentioned it when a "welcome" letter turned up with a policy number and a payment date. Today my mum got a phone call about boiler insurance. She was a bit mixed up and kept talking without realising it was a con. She ended up giving them her bank details and only realised she’d been duped after the call. Her boiler’s new and already insured in case anything goes wrong, so she didn’t need any extra cover. I rang the company to cancel the agreement and then went to the bank to let them know. She said the woman on the phone was quite polite. These cold calls really wind me up, especially since older folks get tricked so easily.

I’m not someone who normally leaves comments online but this bloke Robert proper got on my nerves. He even had the cheek to call me an idiot for not getting boiler warranties. He didn’t know a thing about my boiler, only gave a name and address which you can find anywhere these days. Wanted to charge me £199.98 for a year's cover, and that was after some discount for over 60s. Lucky I stumbled upon this website and all of you lovely folks who shared your experiences with this number. Cheers!

This bloke was really pushy and full of himself, going on about how my boiler’s warranty had ended and pushing me to renew it. Bit odd cos the boiler’s been around for about a decade, so there’s no way the warranty is still valid. He kept pushing the same line, so I told him to shove off and ended the call. Then he tried ringing me again, but I just didn’t bother picking up.

Just got a call saying my boiler warranty was about to expire and if I wanted to renew it. I asked when I supposedly signed up for this warranty and they said anywhere from 6 months to 15 years ago. I told them no thanks, I’m not renewing, and they just hung up on me.

I received a phone call from someone who was rambling on about a boiler warranty, even though we don't have one. To make matters worse, he kept referring to me as 'My love', which I found quite irritating. I explained to him that we don't have a warranty and also made it clear that I am not his love.

Surprisingly, the same man called back immediately and had the audacity to ask me why I was stressed, continuing to refer to me as 'My love'. This crossed the line for me, and I couldn't hold back my frustration. I called him a condescending pig and reiterated that I still wasn't his love, all while expressing my displeasure at maximum volume. It seems this scammer is now trying the same trick with washing machines.

They called twice - first when my husband, who is disabled, asked them to call back when I was available. The caller claimed that our boiler cover had expired. A few days later, they called again. Today, I received a call from a certain individual offering a one-year warranty for boiler service and breakdown cover. However, they requested my debit card sort code. Since I was occupied, I informed them that I couldn't address the matter right now. Strangely, they started interrogating me about my reasons for being unavailable. I promptly ended the call. Shortly after, another person, this time a woman, made a similar attempt. I quickly hung up again. Both individuals refused to disclose the name of their company. I contacted my mother today and, believing it was a legitimate call about her broken boiler, I unfortunately provided them with her card details. The person on the other end of the line was extremely rude to her and made her quite upset. I attempted to call them back but they had already closed for the day. Now, I have to go to the bank tomorrow because of this ordeal. I am very angry with them. How dare they treat an 86-year-old woman in such a disrespectful manner? To make matters worse, the individual claimed to be an accountant, which is clearly not true. I can't wait until Monday when I can let them know exactly how displeased I am with their behavior. I strongly urge everyone to avoid them at all costs.

Disgraceful company! They've somehow conned my elderly mother out of her money through GoCardless. It's a complete scam!

Got a call from 03335773386, some bloke asked about my boiler. When I said I didn’t have one (which isn’t true), he just hung up on me.

Despite repeatedly expressing disinterest and requesting to be removed from their calling list, they persistently continue to call. They call every day, yet immediately hang up when I attempt to engage with them. If I do manage to have a conversation with them, I will not be as kind as before. I have now blocked their number but I anticipate that they will use another number soon, as other companies often do by utilizing mobile numbers. Beware of this practice.

Total scam, just cut the call immediately.

I've been receiving endless calls from a certain company during the past month, persistently offering boiler insurance. They have become quite a bother, especially because my current policy is about to expire. Feeling suspicious about these calls, I decided to contact Corgi and was informed that they were indeed trying to scam me.

Got a call from this number about renewing my boiler service, which sounded odd since my boiler is barely 6 months old. How did he even know my name and postcode? Bit creepy if you ask me. 0333573386

Annoying and disrespectful sales rep hassling an elderly lady about boiler insurance even after I explained I’m a nurse and she’s not well enough to even chat or decide. They went on and rang her 4 times nonstop but we just ended the calls each time. Totally upsetting, STAY AWAY!!!!

I've been dealing with the same nonsense... They ring my mother several times each week. Definitely a boiler room scam. They’re after her bank information. It’s baffling that this number hasn’t been dealt with by the likes of TPS and the others! Looks like it’s been running for ages now. I’ve resorted to using BT Call Protect to keep them at bay (it’s a free service, but you’ve got to keep an eye on it and manually blacklist the numbers).

I frequently contact my mother twice or thrice a week via telephone. However, there seems to be a grave issue arising, as someone is attempting to acquire her bank details through deceitful means. This is evidently a major scam that everyone must be cautious about. The fraudsters claim to be associated with boiler warranties, exploiting people's concerns about colder weather approaching. Nonetheless, this is undoubtedly a fraud and has been happening for quite some time now. It begs the question: why hasn't the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) put an end to these fraudulent activities?

I keep receiving calls from someone informing me that my gas boiler is in need of its annual service. I kindly explained that our house, as well as our entire road, has no gas supply. We live on a solitary farm, you see. However, the person on the other end insisted on speaking to my husband, assuming that as a woman, I wouldn't be aware of our energy supply. This rude and sexist behaviour was unacceptable.

Got calls for a boiler warranty scam ringing my mum loads of times every week. They keep asking for her bank info. This has been going on forever, so how come the TPS or whatever hasn't done anything about it?

A bloke named Joseph rang my mum who’s elderly, saying her boiler warranty was about to expire. He seemed to know quite a bit already and mentioned she’d receive documents for a plan she definitely doesn’t want. I’m convinced it’s a scam. I’ve told her bank to block any payments. Since she’s signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, I’ll be reporting this illegal call to them.

Blimey, now there’s green comments popping up singing praises about them. Funny how no one’s dropping the name, their actual address, or any legit website about this so-called company, eh? Seems like the muppets behind the calls are the ones leaving those green comments, but we ain’t falling for it.

Today, I made a call to my retired mother-in-law regarding boiler cover. During the conversation, I requested her bank details in order to pay for the charges. It's important to mention that she resides in a building owned by a company, and they are responsible for maintaining the boiler. Despite the convincing nature of the caller, she exercised caution and declined to provide any information. This incident clearly highlights a fraudulent scam, so it's important for everyone to remain vigilant.

Got a call from 03335773386 today 18/10/17 claiming my boiler warranty had just expired and they needed my bank details, sort code and Policy number to renew it. They already had my name, address and age. I told them I didn’t have a Policy and refused to share any bank info over the phone. They got a bit annoyed, insisting I must have a Policy and they couldn’t extend it without my details. They threatened to cancel the Policy, so I said “go ahead and cancel” and ended the call.

Got a call from 03335773386 earlier today. I told them I don’t have a boiler, they then claimed it must be my immersion heater. I told them I don’t own one of those either. When I asked for their name, they just hung up on me.

I have received two phone calls from the same person today and one yesterday. However, the calls were ended as soon as I picked up. I am interested in knowing where they are located. Please provide me with their physical address. Best regards, EB

My grandad is 76 and they've rung us two times in the past 30 minutes, but as soon as we pick up, they just drop the call. It’s really worrying for my grandad and I’ve heard from others that they might be trying to scam older folks. Honestly, just don’t waste your time with this number. It’s basically harassment and could be harmful if elderly people aren’t aware of what’s going on.

I phoned my elderly parents with an attempt to offer them boiler cover. My mother politely declined and hung up the phone. However, the caller immediately rang again, and my mother informed them that she has two sons who are plumbers. In response, the caller rudely replied, prompting my mother to end the call once again. They persistently called for a third time, but this time my parents chose to ignore it

I had a call today, informing me that my boiler guarantee was going to expire. I inquired about the duration of the guarantee, and to my surprise, the caller mentioned it could be anywhere from 6 months to 20 years! When I inquired about the specific boiler I had, she claimed it was a Bosch. However, I knew this was incorrect since I don't even own a Bosch boiler. Frustrated by this misinformation, the caller promptly terminated the call. What a complete waste of time and utter nonsense.
