Got a bloke on the phone all worried about my missus's life insurance, said they're legit and covered by some financial body. No clue who they really are! Total con, just trying to reel in info. Have a laugh playing along but never hand over any of your personal stuff to them.

No idea what this person was after, so I ignored the call. Let my voicemail deal with it. If there's no message, then it clearly isn’t worth my time. I've blocked them and loads more. Honestly, it's about time someone tackled these calls without charging us for it. I just don't get why we have to accept this nonsense. Does anyone know if it actually benefits real businesses at all?

Totally a scam, I found this out after entering a dodgy contest online using a spare phone number. Within 24 hours, I started getting calls about some "accident" I've supposedly had, which is rubbish since I never did. They sound pretty convincing, so watch out. Also, avoid those free spin offers on Coin Master - they’re scams too.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Insurance Doctors, sounded like a nice lady with a Northern accent. She asked if I had life insurance and if I knew about the new law changes. I just said yes to both, she said thanks and then hung up.
