No way is this a scam! These calls are from Lowell Debt Collectors trying to track down outstanding debts. Even if you don’t owe anything, your phone number might have been assigned to someone else before, or it could be tied to your address where someone else with a debt once lived. Beware of Lowell debt collectors, they're total scammers. I got a letter from them claiming I owed money on my credit card, but my account was still open and in use with the card company. As soon as I saw it, I rang them straight away to find out what was happening. The credit card company told me they never gave out my details to anyone, as my account was still active. I really wish I’d done more to deal with Lowell back then, not sure why I didn’t. My advice? Just block their number, don’t pick up calls from them, and ignore their messages - they’re only after a con.

I’m not sure why, but every day I get loads of calls from 0333 numbers, even though I always block any number I don’t recognise. I don’t pick up on those at all. It’s definitely not any friends or family calling. Pretty frustrating how persistent they are!

Kept getting voicemail messages asking for Miss Andrea Fostin to ring back on 03335565521. These calls came from various numbers including 03330538147, 03334439910, 03335565520 and 03335565567 as well. Quite annoying as it’s the same request each time.

I usually just let these constant calls go straight to voicemail since I’m pretty sure I don’t owe anyone anything. Figured it was a scam from the start. But out of curiosity, I did call the number back to check, because sometimes the number just isn’t real. This time, when I called, it went to a voicemail with a menu asking me to press something. Meh, I’m just gonna block it and not bother with it again.

I've been getting texts from people looking for someone else, even though I told them before that they've got the wrong number. I've asked them to remove me from their database, but it doesn't help. They keep calling from various numbers, and blocking them is pointless since they just switch to a new one. This annoying situation happens 3 or 4 times a day, without fail, and it’s been going on for years now.

Lowell Debt Management rang me, and it's not some dodgy scam. When I picked up, they asked for some info like my account number, which they had, so it’s legit. Turns out, I’d already arranged a payment plan with them for an old debt. They were just checking in to confirm I’m still keeping up with the payments. Seemed quite polite and straightforward really.

This number 03335565838 keeps ringing and texting me a couple of times a week. They've also sent me letters from their company. Back in September 2020, they got in touch about an unpaid £20 from September 2019 for a pair of sunglasses I never actually got from a catalogue I had then. The amount I’ve spent on their calls, texts, and letters over the past three years probably covers those glasses by now.
