It seems these sorts of companies often hope you'll be so swamped with life's myriad concerns that you'll simply accept their claims without question and fork over cash. So, I informed them about my long-standing relationship with EE, and they had the audacity to inquire about my previous providers, as if there might be a mix-up! Honestly, considering my flawless payment history, if I were truly in arrears, EE would have tossed me off their books ages ago! Be wary of this Lowell lot, they’re nothing but a nuisance!LowellEE5 yearsI recently had an unsettling experience with a firm named Lowell - a debt recovery agency, no less. They rang me up claiming I had an “outstanding balance.” When I inquired about the source, they mentioned O2. Now, I’ve been a loyal customer of EE for over two decades and have absolutely no dealings with O2 whatsoever. It feels to me like these agencies often try their luck, banking on the chaos in people’s lives, hoping they’ll just agree to pay up without a second thought! I made it quite clear to them that O2 wasn’t in my history, to which they bizarrely asked me about the other providers I’ve been with-suggesting it might be one of them. This is just ludicrous! As I said, I’ve been with EE all this time and not a single payment has been missed. Furthermore, if there were ever an issue significant enough for EE to escalate it to collections, trust me, I would have been dropped ages ago!
