I received a call claiming to be from the Post Office, and when I mentioned that I had cancelled my policy a month ago, the lady insisted on verifying my “security details.” Confused, I asked why that was necessary, given that I don’t have any policy with them anymore. She insisted it was to confirm my identity, but I countered with how could I be sure they were who they claimed to be? At that point, I decided it was best to end the call. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a dodgy attempt to fish for my bank information!

I've just received a call on my home phone from this number. I chose not to pick up and let it ring on without answering-there was no voicemail left either. According to what I've come across, it appears that this number is quite dubious, allegedly attempting to dupe individuals by posing as a “post office requesting details for insurance.” Sounds rather dodgy, if you ask me!
