So, I decided to have a bit of fun instead. Initially, he mentioned someone’s name, but it was too muffled for me to catch. I took the opportunity to ask him what this was all about, which is often taken as an affirmative response. He then went on to explain he was merely checking if I had received adequate help and advice following an accident I supposedly had. I thought I’d turn the tables and feigned a panicked tone, claiming I’d indeed had an accident - but it was my fault and I hadn’t informed anyone! I expressed my gratitude for his call and acted overly keen to hear any advice he could provide. Next, he delivered the blow: he couldn’t offer any assistance since it was my fault! I was momentarily speechless and scrambled to ask what my course of action should be. After a bit of back-and-forth, we actually arrived at the hilarious conclusion that I should just hurl my phone into the lake and make a run for it.
