Got a call from someone claiming to be with Fuse Legal about a claim linked to Max Recovery. When they asked me to confirm my details, I refused and requested more info from their side first. The caller, Daniel, said they were representing Hatton Solicitors about some finance or loan from 7 to 10 years back. He brought up PPI too, which I’ve already sorted out, and I kept telling him I don’t remember filling out any online forms at all. He told me to ring back later so I could check it out, but honestly, I’m just gonna block the number now.

I've received yet another call from this number at an ungodly hour-around 2:50 am on the 1st of February. It’s becoming rather bothersome, to say the least!

Got a call from a guy called Charles, sounded like he was from the Caribbean. Honestly, me and my husband couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was on about. After a bit of him going back and forth, we worked out it was something to do with a PPI claim from ages ago. I told him it probably wasn’t worth bothering with, but then he said it was around £1800. I’m pretty sure he was just pulling a number out of thin air, so I just hung up.

I received a call earlier today from an outfit claiming to be Fuse Legal. The woman on the line had quite a thick Indian accent. She had all my details - name, address, date of birth, and email. Apparently, I’d filled out an online enquiry back in October 2021 pertaining to a PPI claim with Halifax Bank. I was honest and said I couldn’t remember anything about that and expressed that I wasn’t keen on pursuing it. They acknowledged my response and abruptly ended the call. It was all rather peculiar!

When I asked how he got my details, he said some website, which is total nonsense - I never share my number online.
