When I pick up, the person on the other end just dives into questions without saying who they are or which company they represent, as if I’ve got no choice but to answer. Look mate, genuine or not, the way they’re doing their sales spiel is well out of line. Probably not a scam, but it’s definitely SPAM and I’ve blocked the number straight away. Loads of folks just pay attention to the comments saying this is a scam, but ignore the ones saying it’s a legit number. This number is actually on the Bulb Energy site as an official marketing contact. If you google "bulb hoax and scam" it’s the top result. I’ve said it lots of times before but it seems nobody listens. More comments calling this a scam will just show how clueless some people are.

Usually, I dont pick up calls from numbers I dont know. Then I check here to find out about who called me and most times I find out these calls are dodgy, trying to steal your bank details or scam you somehow. If I cant find details about the number, I still leave a comment and block it. Blocking doesnt really work well as they just call from new numbers, but I keep doing it and hope they give up. This site is really good for spotting scammers.
