A bloke rang claiming to be from Enterprise, asking if I was involved in a recent car accident and if I’d used my rental for it. He also wanted to know if I’d heard from the other driver’s insurance and if I’d be up for going to court since they were struggling to get the rental fees paid by the other insurer.

This number just rang me, and some lady claimed it was for a “Football Pools Lottery” costing £10 a month. Thankfully, I’m not into gambling, so I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Got a call from a lady with a Scouse accent sayin' they're running a sales campaign for "The pools." She asked if I remembered the pools and mentioned people used to win quite a lot. I said yea, but wasn't interested. Then she rattled off loads of stats to say folks really do win now, as they've changed the way it works. Not huge lottery jackpots, but fair amounts. She sounded honest enough, but I never trust cold calls anyway! Saw most of the bad reviews here are several years old - like five plus years. Makes me think they’re just recycling phone numbers no matter who answers!

Somebody rang me claiming I’d taken part in a survey, which I definitely haven’t. I’m quite cautious since my elderly brother-in-law, who’s 95 and has dementia, got tricked into buying an unnecessary insurance for a washing machine that already has a 5 year warranty. Repair & Insure kept insisting he must have done a survey and given them permission to call, and somehow he ended up agreeing to a Direct Debit for £195. The poor guy would say yes to anything. As for me, I never pick up surveys.

I've had a number of calls from them. It’s terribly frustrating how these nuisances persist even after you’ve clearly declined. I’m not familiar with Promise Life; perhaps I ought to look into it.

Promis Life funeral plan is quite relentless in their approach. They simply refuse to accept 'no' for an answer. I inquired about how they obtained my old mobile number, and they claimed it was from an online competition I supposedly entered. Truth be told, I have never been one for competitions. I highly recommend steering clear of Promis Life; their tactics are rather dubious, to say the least!

Promis Life Funeral plan callin non stop and wouldnt accept a no. When I asked how they got my old number, they said I’d joined some competition. I never enter those things. My father in law passed away just the week before so it felt really insensitive. Proper scumbags.

I seem to receive around three calls daily from a withheld number on my landline, and it still manages to disturb me. I've made it clear that I'm not interested, but they just ignore my wishes.

Kept asking for 'Tony' then said they dialled the wrong number, but they've rung loads of times at really bad hours. Sometimes when I answer there's just dead silence on the phone.

I’ve tried everything to halt calls from this number. I use an app that blocks most spam calls fairly well. Still, this particular number manages to get through, going straight to my voicemail. Every day, I find 3 or 4 missed calls on there. Is there any way to stop them from going to voicemail? They never leave a message, which honestly is more irritating than just answering the call and saying no.

03334432587 is driving me mad. I usually use an app that blocks these kinds of calls quite well, but this number keeps getting straight through to my voicemail. Every day I find 3 or 4 missed calls there. The worst bit is that they never leave any message, which is somehow even more irritating than a normal call. Does anyone know how to stop calls going to voicemail like this?

Some bloke claimed to be from PromisLife and kept saying I’d asked for info from them, something about a competition. Complete rubbish. I never asked for anything like that anywhere. I just said cheers for calling and hung up while he was still going on.

Really pleased I looked up this number, I filled out a life insurance quote online and ever since, I’ve been flooded with calls from this number constantly, anytime between 8 in the morning and 10 at night. Always comes up as blocked and no one ever picks up.
