I’ve reported them to Ofcom loads of times (and I’m sure plenty of others have too) because of these silent or dropped calls. I read that each call can get the company fined as much as £80,000 - fingers crossed they actually get done for it.

I normally dont pick up if I dont recognise the number, especially if it’s not saved on my phone. But this one kept ringing a few times so I answered today. I always ask “how did you get my number?” when its some random caller - they never say. I just keep asking the same thing over and over, like “how did you get my number?” again and again till they get fed up and end the call. After that, they never ring again!

They pretended to be from a marketing firm. My number isn't listed, so I questioned how they obtained it, highlighting that they might be violating data protection regulations. I requested to speak to a manager, but they promptly disconnected the call.

Fraudster alert! I picked up the phone to a chap claiming to be Simon, wanting to gather my personal information. Before I knew it, he switched his story and suddenly called himself Michael. When I mentioned I’d be informing the authorities, he promptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
