I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of engaging with this so-called message, as doing so might inadvertently provide scammers with an open channel through your phone (it's reminiscent of the old 'just press 5' con).

I have a strong suspicion that this might be linked to some hackers who are messing about with TalkTalk. I keep receiving these utterly ridiculous phone calls. I've reached out to TalkTalk myself to clarify the situation regarding the scam, but I’m still none the wiser about what these callers actually want from me. It seems that because I engaged with them on a couple of occasions (which led to a complete nightmare that necessitated the help of my computer technician), they've taken it as a cue to keep pestering me. I’m seriously close to losing my temper! Lately, I’m getting these strange automated messages instead. At this point, I reckon it’ll just take time for this to blow over, as it appears there’s no one available to actually put a stop to these buffoons.
