I’m usually pretty wary when I see calls coming from an 033 number and most times I hang up straight away. This time I decided to pick up and honestly, I’m glad I did. I was a bit abrupt with the person on the other end at first, but they were really understanding and nice. They helped me boost my life insurance cover, which honestly surprised me. If I’d read the reviews here beforehand, I might have ignored the call altogether. Fingers crossed everything’s alright with my policy now and that the negative comments are just from folks like me who get annoyed easily.

I've just got two voicemails from 03333442063, both supposedly from HMRC warning me about a criminal case against me. They said it’s the final warning and to ring them back to sort it out. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number!

Got a call on my mobile from someone real cheeky and not polite at all, claiming they were ringing for Aviva. Told him I wasn’t interested, hung up, but then he went ahead and rang my home phone right after. When I told him to stop, he said he'd keep ringing me any time, day or night! Wouldn’t tell me his name either, which just made it even worse. Proper annoying experience.

I asked for their address, but he dodged the question. He claimed I had a direct debit with them, but it felt like a total scam. He then said he didn’t have time to prove he was legit. I told him to remove me from their list and ended the call. You could tell he was rushing, probably has to make loads of calls every hour.
