When they called, I mentioned I'd googled their number first, and the bloke told me to check out Trust Point or something similar. So, I did. Turns out, there’s a nasty review on Watchdog saying companies mess with reviews to make themselves look legit. To me, this screams scam, and it’s just awful to try and con someone who’s shopping for a funeral plan because they’re terminally ill. I do pick up when they ring, just to tell them I’ve already arranged everything, but they still push for more info. I just hang up on 'em. Seriously, don’t let these dodgy idiots take you in!

We had a bit of a chat and, dumbly, I gave them my birth date because she said it was needed to find the best deal. Then she said she’d transfer me to another person. After she put me on hold, there was silence for nearly 20 seconds before a guy called Lionel spoke. Then I heard nothing from him for over a minute before the call just dropped. Feels like a dodgy scam to me. Best avoid these calls.
