I picked up but the call dropped quite quick, not what I expected. Was thinking about keeping them chatting for a bit, then telling them, ‘wait a sec, just got a message from BBC saying you lot are scammers.’ Tried doing the same with another number and they just started swearing and slammed down. If everyone did this, maybe these calls would die down a bit.

Just got a call from 0333 303 4613 and there was nobody actually speaking when I answered. I kept saying "hello" a couple of times, then a voice replied with "Goodbye" and hung up straight away! It seemed like some sort of automated message. What’s the point of these calls anyway? I’ll definitely be blocking this number. Whenever I get calls trying to sell me stuff or get me to sign up to things, I always make it clear I’m not interested, ask them to stop calling, then block and report as spam.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Santander, saying my card had been used fraudulently. They never gave me the last 4 digits of my card, which seemed dodgy. I told them I wouldn’t share any details and would get in touch with my bank myself. When I did, the bank told me it was definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Tesco Bank. They actually knew some simple stuff about my account, but when they asked me for the full card details, I just ended the call. After that, I rang Tesco myself and found out it was definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were Matthew from Tesco Bank. They already knew my name and even the first few numbers of my credit card. They said my card had just been used for a huge purchase over £2000, and then warned me about another suspicious payment of more than £4000 that they supposedly stopped. Turned out it was a total scam, Tesco Bank later confirmed it.

This company actually offers home fuel switching. I tried checking online as I wanted to change suppliers, but they kept claiming theirs was the top deal. Spoiler: it’s not.
