Just received a dodgy call from what they claimed was a life insurance company. They were saying they represented various reputable banks and financial institutions. Strangely enough, they had zero access to any of my personal information or account numbers. It's best to steer clear of these chancers and absolutely do not share any of your personal information with them! Keep your details safe!

The bloke was really rude, couldn’t make out what he was saying. He wanted me to pay £5 so he’d remove me from their list. When I said that’s not legal, he got proper annoyed and just cut the call.

Some bloke with a strong Middle Eastern accent phoned me. When I asked him to say that again, he got proper annoyed. Then when I mentioned GDPR and said to remove my number from their records, he got even more worked up. He tried to charge me £5 to get off their list. I told him again it's the law here in the UK to comply with GDPR, and after that he backed off. I just told him to have a good day and blocked the number.

Some bloke from abroad called me and I couldn’t understand a single thing he was saying, so I asked him nicely to say it again. Instead of trying, he just got all annoyed. That’s when I figured it was probably one of those scams, so I just kept asking “What was that? I can’t get a word you’re saying” over and over.
