I answered but there was no one there, so I just ended the call.

Got loads of calls from this number today, but I couldn’t ring them back. It’s definitely a fake O2 phone! Total scam.

I got a call out of the blue after I ordered an O2 SIM yesterday. The guy asked me to verify some details and actually told me my name. I told him I’d ring O2 directly to double-check, but he insisted it was legit and about services I was supposedly activating. Then he asked if I was already an O2 customer. That’s when I just hung up.

Got a call from some scammer pushing a "better deal" after I’d just bought a new sim. Didn’t bother listening and just ended the call.

Couldn't be bothered to answer and then just blocked me. Definitely a dodgy number.

I got a call from someone claiming they could sort me out with a cheaper SIM-only pay as you go plan. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, so I didn't bother.

Got a voicemail from some company called Compare My Insurance about an insurance policy I don’t even own. They said they’d call back, but honestly they won’t get through again as I’ve already blocked their number and will report them. They mentioned I could ring them on an 0161 number too, which is blocked as well. The government and phone providers seriously need to do more to stop these annoying nuisance calls!
