Was waiting on a call from someone else when the phone rang, so I answered it. A bloke calling himself Mr Wheatley claimed to be from some "government advisory service" offering free energy-saving tips plus a survey that wouldn’t cost a penny. I told him cheers but I’m already sorted with all the energy-saving info I need, then hung up. Only after did it dawn on me I’m ex-directory, so how did he even know I’m supposedly "in his area"? Strange.
