kept getting calls from someone claiming to be 'uswitch' about some broadband deal, rang me every single day no stopping. when I finally picked up, told them to check the contract as I’m not interested but they still keep on ringing. they were asking for folks by name, but guessed the names wrong - seemed like they pulled info from an outdated company record using an old director’s name that’s no longer valid.

Still, they pushed on, trying to chat about my 'broadband' which I don’t even have. Then they suddenly switched to asking about my mobile, like they always do with these sorts of calls, saying the number works with all the main networks. After a bit of back and forth, I got them so fed up they just hung up on me.

Watch out, lads! These dodgy folks are taking advantage of BT moving away from analogue lines. I got a call from some bloke who claimed he was from BT and even knew my name - total rubbish, because I’d been on the phone to BT and Openreach the day before. This muppet was trying to sign me up for a contract I definitely don’t want. Stay sharp if they ring you - they hate it when you say “No.” Giving them a cheeky “Foxtrot Oscar” seemed to do the trick for me! 😄
