Caution, everyone! There's a shady boiler scam going around claiming that all boilers must be rated A by the end of 2016. Stay alert and don’t fall for it!

I got a call from them and when I asked what criteria they used to decide if I was eligible for a free boiler, they just ended the call.

lately ive been getting loads of calls weekly about some new gov plan that says every home must have a high efficiency gas boiler fitted, no upfront payment needed. after getting fed up with these calls i hit 2 and a lady answered almost straight away. she started talking about the offer but when i asked her what company she was with, she just cut the call. next time someone calls, ill try to arrange for a salesman to come round, and i’m definitely gonna shut the door right in their face!

I’ve been getting calls from loads of different numbers like this one, all with the same pre-recorded message about changing your boiler. They keep switching numbers to try and dodge any blocks you set up. They're clearly after your cash, but honestly, you don’t need what they’re selling. If you really want a new boiler, your safest option is to contact a reputable local company. Also, don’t bother pressing any buttons to stop these calls - it won’t do anything except let them know someone picked up.

I’ve told them off, but they just keep calling like I didn’t say anything! Really annoying.

Got a call around 1pm today about changing my boiler. Absolutely frustrating! I’ve reported it to the ICO - honestly, everyone ought to report these pests.

Got a call about a government grant for a new boiler, sounded off right away. When I asked who exactly they were with, they started getting rude and then just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Caution regarding spam calls! They’re claiming that every boiler needs to be A-rated by the conclusion of 2016.

Dodgy telemarketing group // they just left a pre-recorded msg on our answer phone. It was something about a government initiative or some such nonsense.

They keep ringing me, often up to three times a day, insisting that I need to have an A-rated boiler sorted by the end of 2016. It’s getting quite tiresome!

Got a call out of the blue about the Green Deal and they mentioned a £179 charge. I had read somewhere a money-saving expert recommending it to be more like £120 to £150. When I tried ringing back, the office was already shut at 4.30 on a Friday, even tho their voicemail said they’d be open till 5. Bit annoying!

I got a call from them about some green deal thing and they asked me to pay £179 straight away just to do an assessment. But I know the government scheme usually only charges around £70 to £100.
