When they asked for my bank details to set up a direct debit, I made up an excuse and ended the call. Since then, they’ve rung me loads of times. I contacted Virgin Media myself and they confirmed the info this number gave me wasn’t right - apparently, an engineer needs to come out to check if service is even available.
