Got a text like this the night before last, said it was from 'Santander', but I only saw it after midnight. I logged into my account to double check and all seemed fine. I’ve rung Santander about a similar scam before, using the number they have on the back of their card, not the one in the message, and they told me it was fraudsters pretending to be them. They said there’s not much they can do about the spoof texts showing their name.

Today I got a call saying there was some dodgy activity on my Santander account, and they gave me a ref number. Never rang them though, so cheers for the heads up from this site. Honestly, it’s mad how these scams are everywhere now.

Got a message saying it was from the Santander Fraud Team about suspicious use of our debit card, and they wanted me to "click this number." Rang Santander directly to check and turns out it was a scam, definitely not from them!

Got a text supposedly from Co-op bank asking me to ring a number about some dodgy transaction. Looked a bit off to me. As far as I know, Coop or Smile never use 03333 numbers for their calls or messages. Seems like a scam to me.
