Ive seen other posts about this and ive got texts a couple times from marstons grp or just marstons asking for a reference number and code, but no phone number to call back. Now ive got a number this time but after reading the comments im wary of it so im just gonna block it. If its some debt collectors, they should really send a proper letter to say theyve been trying to contact me. If that happens ill update to say if its legit or not, but for now i just wont call them back. Looks dodgy to me, so im playing it safe. Watch out everyone.

The initial call was automated and bizarrely mentioned my brother's name, even though he has never lived with me and we share different surnames; it makes me wonder how on earth they figured out our connection. It’s worrying how much they might know about me. Given that I deal with anxiety, these calls have certainly ramped up my stress levels. The automated voice instructed me to "press 1 to make a payment," which raised a red flag for me. Then, two more calls came this morning-one at an ungodly hour, followed by another not long after. Both calls disturbed my sleep! I think the second two might have been from a live person, who had a Welsh accent, but the call quality was horrendous. I struggled to catch what was being said and had to replay the message multiple times. I did manage to pick up a reference number and the phone number to reach them, but I have absolutely no intention of calling back, for various reasons. These persistent calls are incredibly disturbing and I've had enough of them.
