Got a call from an Indian guy claiming I'd won £1635.46 from a PPI claim. He had all my details - name, address, date of birth, everything. Asked me for my bank account and sort code so they could send the money over. I told him to just send a cheque and I’d sort it out myself. He said since it was a bank refund, they had to do a bank transfer. I said no way, cheque is fine. Then he just cut me off.

Got a call from some bloke from India asking for my son. My partner decided to mess with him and pretended to be my lad. As soon as the guy started talking, he swore and just ended the call. That number’s already buzzed me three times in about 12 hours.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming I had some PPI money waiting for me. Got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent claiming I had some PPI money waiting for me. She started asking loads of questions like my name and address, trying to check if I was legit, then asked which bank I used. I refused to tell her that. Next thing she says my life insurance was no good anymore and that the bank where I cash the cheque would keep half of my PPI. Then she pushed me to get a new policy through her. Told her no thanks and she just cut me off. Total con, watch out!

So, a woman with really bad English called me and asked if I was Ms (not really sure). When I asked who she was, she just ended the call straight away. They tried ringing me twice the day before but I didn’t pick up. After that, I got a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC saying I owe money and legal action will start if I don’t ring them back, with a number to call. Total con job, I’ve blocked that number now.

For weeks now, I've been plagued with calls, mostly about life insurance. When I tell them I'm not interested, sometimes they even swear at me. It's getting ridiculous, with nearly 5 calls daily and at all sorts of strange times. Honestly, I just want them to leave me alone.

Couldn't really understand the bloke's name since his English was awful, just like others have said. He kept pushing me for personal info, trying to sell me life insurance to supposedly unlock some PPI claim. When I asked questions, he started swearing and said I was a f***ing idiot who didn’t deserve anything. Proper nasty behaviour! I’ve had calls before from similar numbers, and every time I question them, they either get rude or just hang up straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who somehow already had my name and address. She said I was owed PPI money from Lloyd’s but asked for my bank info. I could tell right away it was a scam and just ended the call. Really wish the authorities would do more to actually catch these con artists because just blocking their numbers doesn’t help at all.

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who seemed to already know my name and where I live. He asked me to verify my date of birth and bank details, saying he was from the Financial Conduct Authority and was doing a ‘courtesy call’ to check my identity before sending me some paperwork about a £2,000 refund supposedly from Barclays with interest over the last 8 years. I didn’t feel comfortable giving any personal info over the phone, especially bank details, so I told him I was pretty clued-up about scams and asked for a phone number at Barclays that I could ring to double-check. He kept pushing, saying I had to confirm those details for the refund and paperwork to go through. As you’d expect, he wouldn’t give me any Barclays contact number. When I still refused to give my details, he got annoyed and hung up. I tried ringing back the number but it wouldn’t connect. I’ve reported the whole thing to www.actionfraud.police.uk just to be safe.

Today I got a couple of calls from this number. The first time, the person actually used my name and brought up a PPI claim. I told them I wasn’t involved in anything like that and ended the call. When they tried again, I just ignored it. Now I’ve blocked the number completely.

They never say what firm they’re actually from either. Honestly, it’s getting really annoying now. It’s beyond a joke.

Got a call from some bloke named Steve, said he was from the UK and talking about some refund. When I asked him who exactly he was and where he was calling from, he just dropped the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

They keep ringing from different numbers, acting really rude and all that. Always going on about PPI and claiming they’re from Birmingham when they mean London. I’ve told them to stop loads of times but these idiots just keep buzzing me morning, noon and night. I've blocked their numbers but somehow they still get through. One of their numbers is 07480048542, I had to put my phone on silent or switch it off because it’s getting mad. Honestly, this is just getting way out of hand now.

Had a call from some guy named Dave, sounded Indian, saying I needed to arrange life insurance stuff to get some PPI money. I wasn’t interested, so he called back, but this time it was an Indian lady on the line. She kept pushing the same story, but I asked for some proof in writing and then they just hung up on me. Totally fishy, definitely a scam!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying I was owed a PPI refund for a Lloyds loan. Of course, he wanted my bank info to 'send the money'. Quite obviously a scam. I asked loads of questions, and I could hear someone else in the background helping him out. Eventually, the guy just hung up. Definite time to block this number.

Got a call from a bloke called Jason with a really strong Indian accent, claiming the government could replace my heating system at no cost. He then asked how old my heating system was. I told him it was freshly fitted and asked him to take me off his call list. He agreed he would.
These scam callers... no matter what they say, just say you've recently had a new one installed or already claimed. Works every time 😂

I kept asking if he was aware of the Telephone Preference Service, but after a while, with his Indian accent, he just snapped at me to get lost, using some pretty rude language.
