The caller said she was from EDF but she was really rude and quite pushy. I don’t think it was really EDF given how she acted.

Got a call on my work phone from +443333050468. A lady spoke clearly and said she was from EDF Energy, even got my name right. She said she found my business number on my website, which is how she knew who to ask for. When I asked for their contact number, she gave me 03330097065, but it seems that number is fake. Just a warning, don’t fall for it.

Said they were from EDF - asked for someone else and then tried to find out when the contract ends. I hung up. EDF really need to know about this. These people are definitely NOT EDF but said they were when I asked. Always check who’s calling and why before saying anything.

I picked up the call, heard some muffled talking for like half a second, then it just dropped. Bit disappointing, I had about 30 minutes free and was kinda hoping to mess about with someone.
