Got a call from someone claiming they were from Santander’s fraud department, and shockingly, they already had my email and some security info for my bank card. They kept pushing me for info about my recent account activity. Do NOT pick up if you get a call like this!

I got a call from ‘Three’ claiming to sort me out with a new SIM, asked loads of personal stuff. I fed them some bogus info and mentioned I hadn’t got any email. They then handed me a number to ring once I got the email. Definitely seemed dodgy to me!

My daughter’s phone has been getting loads of calls from the same number, so we’ve had to block it now to stop them ringing again.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from Zinc Group, they wanted me to ring back using some reference number that didn’t even exist. Definitely felt dodgy to me, smells like a scam.

I got a call with an Indian accent warning that £600 had been taken from my card and sent abroad. They didn’t even say which bank or card company it was supposedly from. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it - total nonsense, just a rubbish scam from Mumbai.

Got a call from 01708734005 not long ago and they left a message that made no sense. They said if I was tied up, I should call 443333034425. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me and could be risky to respond to.

Received a voicemail from 01603419434, which is a Norwich area code. The message was pretty unclear but mentioned pressing 1 or calling a number starting with 44, something like 443333034425, supposedly a calling office. I tried calling 01603419434 twice, but no one answered and it asked me to leave a message. Seems like a scam to me. I definitely didn’t ring that 44 number myself.

For sure it was a scam. They left a voice message but it was one of those recorded ones and honestly, made no sense at all.

I got a call from 02088564247, and the person left a voicemail asking me to press 1 to talk to someone about a refund, or to call back on 443333034425. The message was this weird robotic voice, but it sounded like they had an Indian accent or something. I checked, and the 03333 numbers were actually given out by Ofcom back in May 1999 to a company called PTGI International Carrier Services Ltd. Bit of a strange scam, if you ask me.
