Some bloke called Derek from a firm or summat, I couldn't make out the name properly. Told him I'm deaf and he should speak up, and all he says is 'Pardon' then just hangs up! I've had loads of calls like this since I listed my number on Gumtree.

I put my car on Gumtree and just a couple of hours later I get a call from some muppets saying I was owed money for a car accident that I had nothing to do with. Total nonsense. Some bloke said he was from Aviva about a personal injury claim from a crash at the back two years ago (which never happened). When I asked him a few questions he couldn’t answer and wouldn’t send anything in writing. He started getting a bit nasty so I just ended the call.
