They claimed to be Carphone Warehouse, but the call came from outside the UK. They were offering a phone deal, saying they’d cancel all current contracts with no cost, include unlimited calls, texts, data, and 1000 free international minutes, plus the newest iPhone for £38. Then they asked for bank details and I’m worried they’d drain everything from my account. Total scam!

So, it turned out to be someone from Carphone Warehouse trying to push a phone deal. This man with an Indian accent kept asking about my current phone and the price I pay. He tried to sell me a ‘banana phone’ for £50, which was clearly a dodgy offer. When I called him out on it, he didn’t take it well, ended up swearing and just hung up on me.

Got a call from a guy with a foreign accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to push me a phone contract.
