Received a call purporting to be from my mobile provider. As soon as I pointed out that they weren’t affiliated with my network, they abruptly terminated the call.

Claimed they were from O2, but when I requested to know the name associated with my account, she stumbled! She mentioned something about offering me a 40% discount on my next bill due to Covid, which sounded utterly ridiculous. Clearly, her aim was to fish for my email address. It’s blatant that this was a scam of some sort!
