So, today I got a call from Argos pay and honestly, I was sure it was some kind of scam at first. Both people I talked to had English accents which kinda threw me off, and me and one of them ended up having a good laugh about it. Turns out, they’re legit and have offices in Leeds and London. Definitely a real number.

This isn’t some kinda scam, people need to chill. It’s probably just a call about a missed payment, maybe for a shop card like Argos or AO, or a credit card from one of their many companies. Today, I received a letter from NewDay and AO, which appeared very official, regarding a late payment on a balance of £741.00. However, upon searching for the contact number, I discovered this forum and I am grateful for it. Interestingly, the contact number provided by the letter is only two digits different from the genuine one. When I decided to call and inquire about the situation, they offered me an automated bank payment option, which I believe could easily deceive some individuals. Without a doubt, this is a scam that should be avoided at all costs.

For several months now, I have been continuously receiving emails, phone calls, and letters claiming that I owe money to Amazon. I've even received court orders regarding this matter. It's rather frustrating because it's all a sham - I don't actually owe any money. Yet, these scammers show no sign of giving up. I'm not sure who to report them to! During my phone call, they requested my date of birth, to which I declined. They were under the impression that I am an account holder with ao.com, which is not the case. Now, I intend to contact the police in order to file a report about this situation. The letter I received indicates that it is from NewDay. However, I would like to make it clear that Newday is indeed a real company. Unfortunately, by heeding the advice of the Amazon advisors and neglecting to question their inexperience, I missed a payment which could potentially have an impact on my credit report. Therefore, I urge everyone not to repeat the same mistake as me. I have received multiple phone calls from a particular number claiming to be representing Amazon. However, I do not recognize the credit card that they say I owe money on. Additionally, today I received a letter from them stating that I have missed a payment, but I have no recollection of owning this credit card. Moreover, they have been threatening to negatively impact my credit score.
I have chosen to disregard any further communication from this number. It seems that they identify themselves as either "Newday" or "N3."
