I've reported this number loads of times on this site, other platforms, and even to Ofcom, yet they still ring me three times a day, every day apart from Sundays. Bless it, one day without calls at least! It’s been going on for over half a year now and nothing seems to be done. Why is it allowed to keep going and why can’t someone just stop it?

I never pick up calls from 0333 numbers now and always have a quick look on this site - just like I suspected, they're scams. Big thanks to everyone for the warnings. I keep blocking the numbers but they just ring from different ones each time. Looks like I’m stuck blocking them over and over with no real way to stop it. Loads of firms calling up acting like they’re from BT Openreach trying to get you to change your provider. I get these calls all the time and they always claim to know your BT details and services, but they’re just guessing. It’s better if they just said who they really are. Some resellers might have proper BT franchises, but they go as far as pretending to be BT Openreach, which just confuses people into thinking they’re dealing with BT itself. Always double-check who you’re talking to before making any switch, and if in doubt, ring BT’s Customer Service on 0800 800150.
