Loads of firms calling up acting like they’re from BT Openreach trying to get you to change your provider. I get these calls all the time and they always claim to know your BT details and services, but they’re just guessing. It’s better if they just said who they really are. Some resellers might have proper BT franchises, but they go as far as pretending to be BT Openreach, which just confuses people into thinking they’re dealing with BT itself. Always double-check who you’re talking to before making any switch, and if in doubt, ring BT’s Customer Service on 0800 800150.
